Closed Loop Referrals

The VCCIE is creating a closed-loop referral platform in Ventura County.

What is a closed-loop referral? With client consent, a referral for services made on a CIE is made electronically and lets the appropriate people know that a client is looking for services. The organization receiving the referral confirms receipt of the referral, documents the service is completed, and the system notifies the organization who made the referral; thereby “closing the loop”. This simple process helps improve efficiency in our system and reduces barriers for the client.
